The extreme simulation of temperature is accomplished in thermal shock chambers within two zones of hot and cold. These zones are regulated independently of one another; a single basket product carrier can be transferred between them, exposing the specimen to extreme temperature variations, resulting in a thermal shock and the detection of faults.
