Liebisch Constasal® Salt Spray Chambers (ISO 9227)
Liebisch Salt Spray cabinets are made to extremely high-quality standards and are particularly durable and reliable in use.
Chambers can be supplied in cabinet (SC) or chest (TR) form, in various chamber volumes and can be manually (M) or automatically controlled (A).
There is a choice of operating systems, each denoted by a letter of the alphabet.
‘S’ denotes the salt spray system.
A manually controlled chamber with system S and minimum chamber volume 400 litres is suitable for ISO9227 and ASTM B117 testing procedures. These are classified as Constasal® type chambers.
System S can be combined with other operating systems such as ventilation (B) and automatically controlled units can be used for programmed cyclic corrosion testing, (please see CCT chambers).
Suitable for continuous salt spray test standards such as ASTM B117 and ISO 9227.
Acetic acid or copper chloride can be added to the NaCl solution to accelerate the reaction. The fine salt fog is delivered with flow control and condenses on the test samples initiating corrosion. A salt spray chamber according to DIN EN ISO 9227 is supplied with a minimum volume of 400 litres.
Constasal SC or TR Series
