Liebisch Constamatic® Cyclic Corrosion Testing (CCT) Chambers

Liebisch Constamatic® chambers can be fitted with many process systems and can be programmed to meet the requirements of many cyclic testing standards: They use only the highest quality components and are extremely reliable and durable in use.

Cyclic corrosion tests are often specified by manufacturers, for parts to be used in their products, e.g. VDA 621-415 or VW PV1210.

Liebisch Cabinets (SC) and Chests (TR) are available with a range of process systems to control condensation water (K), Salt Spray (S), Ventilation (B), Warm air (W), Humidity (F), Gas (G), overhead irrigation (R) and cooling with or without freezing (C and CF). These systems can be combined to create the required conditions for many test standards. Chamber volumes ranging from 400 to 2500 L can be supplied.

These Constamatic® chambers are automatically controlled, being fully programmable.

Constamatic® SC or TR Series

These series are programmable. The unit’s easy to use programmer is mount in the control panel. All functions are displayed on a multi-line menu-driven display. The units can be equipped with systems for salt spray or built as combination testing units.

Different producers, associations and institutions have developed cyclic corrosion testing standards, which combine periods of condensation climate, salt spray and drying or ventilation with controlled temperature and humidity cycles. Some modern automotive standards add overhead irrigation and sometimes even freezing cycles.

The purpose is to simulate real environmental stress.
