Zanelli Testing Laboratory

Zanelli offer the possibility to trial your products at pilot/small production scale to verify correct specification of mixing equipment.

The new TEST CENTER ZANELLI at Customers service is equipped with laboratory machines having small capacity up to pilot machines that can deal with small-scale production of products with low, medium and high viscosity. Our attention is focused on the aim of reproducing in scale, as far as possible, the functional features and structural properties of industrial size machines. The machines available in the TEST CENTER ZANELLI are equipped with instruments for monitoring and data detection such as: temperature probes, vacuum pump, over pressure, heating/cooling of mixing vessel, variable speed of the tools, etc.. all managed by a supervision system that allows us to collect all the data and the trends of the values during the tests. After completing the tests, results, obtained from the tests carried out, are examined together with the Customer and with the help of our Technical Department, that has an established experience, we are able to calculate which is the most suitable production machine or plant according to Customers needs in terms of technical and economical issues. List of machines available: TURBODISPERSER SILVER LINE MODEL BIRG Turbodisperser, under vacuum, complete with over pressure, with central mixing shaft at variable speed and independent lateral rotating scraper. Impeller vertical stroke during mixing/dispersing phase and vacuum phase. Temperature probe to detect product temperature. Vessel capacity up to 180 liters. Jacket to cool the product up to 10 C or to heat the product up to 90 C. prove fascia       MIXER/DISPERSER MERCURY LINE MODEL BI Mixer/disperser, under vacuum, with variable speed of the two mixing shafts (toothed impeller and butterfly impeller). Scrapers assembled on the edges of the butterfly impeller. Impellers vertical stroke during mixing/dispersing and vacuum. Temperature probe to detect product temperature. Vessel capacity up to 80 liters. Jacket to cool the product up to 10 C or to heat the product up to 90 C fascia3 PLANETARY DISPERSER/MIXER ZIRCONIUM LINE MODEL BI Planetary disperser/mixer, under vacuum, with independent variable speeds of the three mixing shafts (one complete with a toothed impeller and two complete with inclined flaps impellers or butterfly impellers). Independent lateral scraper. Temperature probe to detect product temperature. Vessel capacity up to 80 liters, Jacket to cool the product up to 10 C or to heat the product up to 90 C. prove fascia       EXTRUDER PEI-BM Electric press-out system, with movable bench, complete with movable tightening gasket and expandable tightening gasket.             fascia3 HORIZONTAL MIXING MACHINE MODEL VFB/4S Horizontal mixing machine with variable speed and scrapers on the mixing paddles. Temperature probe to detect product temperature. Vessel capacity up to 170 liters.       prove fascia   THERMOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS OF MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL PARTS Thermographic analysis with high definition infrared camera, industrial type, in order to identify dthe distribution of the temperature in different parts of the machine. In the field of ATEX classification, the compliance to maximum surface temperatures shall ensure compliance to the Standards. The distribution inside the electrical cabinets allows identification of possible overloads of components or lines finalized to predict future failures.
