Liebisch Metal Block Thermostats

High quality, durable German-made block thermostats, to suit many applications. A large number of thermal analysis methods can be performed with Liebisch metal block thermostats. Disintegration, hydrolization, incineration, evaporation or CSB are examples. Special bespoke units can be supplied.

Units are available with an integrated controller or with a separate control box.

The block is produced from a single piece of special aluminium alloy, leading to high-temperature stability and short response times.

A standard feature of the thermostats is the PID controller with set point and actual value display. The units can be equipped with the integral Digit (for maximum temperature stability) or with the external control box (for safe operation).

The controller can perform timer or ramp functions. Optional intel® RS 485 interface to connect to a PC. The controller can be programmed independently using special software.

Labtherm

This is the basic unit of the Liebisch production series and is equipped with a fixed heating block.

Thermobil

The Thermobil is the most flexible of the Liebisch thermostats. The interchangeable heating blocks (mono blocks) make it possible to perform different functions with one unit.

Epptherm

The thermostat with a fixed heating block and bore holes especially for heating of 0,2/0,5/1,5/2,0 ml reaction vessels. The working temperature range is designed for use with plastic vessels.

The smaller version of the standard units Labtherm, Thermobil and Evaporator is the Minitherm. Functions and features correspond to the larger units.

Evaporator

The Evaporator combines a metal block thermostat with a gasing unit, the Multiplex-Valve-Unit. The patented system allows heating and concentrating of samples with selected gases. Easy-to-operate individual gas control valves allow targeted gasing of individual samples. The valve unit is height-adjustable and can be swivelled to the side. As an option, the support rod can be supplied with a hand-wheel to adjust the height.

Multivario

Up to 20 different functions can be performed by the Multivario, e.g. nitrohydrochloric acid disintegration, cyanide or mercury disintegration.

Friotherm

With this unit, you can cool down your test samples below ambient temperature, with the help of Peltier technology. This special covered heating block can be heated to max. 120°C.

The standard bore holes have a depth of 50 mm, the design of the bore hole base is round or plane.

Rotatherm

The Rotatherm allows heating of samples in combination with rotational mixing. With various adjustable rotational speeds, the samples are mixed at regular intervals or permanently. The internal timer allows programming of individual operation modes.

The standard bore holes have a depth of max. 90 mm, the design of the bore hole base is round or plane.
